My Style: Navy Fit and Flare Dresses

Northwest Pearls: Navy Fit and Flare Dresses I love sleeveless fit and flare dresses with a high neckline. Quite a few of my dresses fit this to a 't'. The rest of them are slight modifications on that style. (Maybe I should branch out...)

Here are three of my favorite navy dresses like that. From left to right:

  • Polka Dot Dress: Adrianna Papell (See how I wore it below)
  • Solid Dress: Loft (old); I couldn't find anything close, but here's a fairly similar ModCloth dress, it just has lace
  • Striped Dress: Target (old); Similar Dillard's and similar Nordstrom

I wanted to share with you some more boatneck fit and flare dressesI found and love!

  • I wish I had a reason to get this ModCloth dress!
  • I know this JCPenney dress isn't navy, but I want it in my closet!
  • And isn't the pattern on this Nordstrom Rack dress cool?

What's your go-to style of dress?

Here's my blog post with me wearing the polka dot dress:

Yellow, Cream, and Navy OOTD

A few years ago I got a cute plaid pencil skirt, and to go along with it, I bought this shirt from Target. I decided to try pairing it with a new skirt of mine from Marshall's and really liked the look. Northwest Pearls: Yellow, Cream, and Navy OOTD

This skirt is so comfy, I've been wearing it pretty often with 3 or 4 different shirts. And I'm glad I got these heels, they're low, but they do give me a little height; and they're pretty comfy, though they did take some time to break in.

Has there been a piece of clothing you've been wearing a lot lately?

Lunch on the Oceanside Pier

Northwest Pearls: Lunch on Oceanside Pier While I was on vacation in Southern California I went down to Oceanside, CA to have lunch at Ruby's on the pier. I ordered a yummy BLTA and onion rings and after eating we took our time walking down the pier, looking at the waves coming in and at the pelicans hanging out.

We also grabbed bubble tea (or boba tea) from Bubble Tea in Oceanside. It's tea with milk and tapioca balls added in. There are different variations on the drink but it's pretty good. I like the tapioca balls but usually can't finish them all. My aunt was obsessed with the drink and was craving it just a couple of hours later.

Navy, Pearls, and Polka Dots

I love fit and flare dresses. They're fun, feminine, and flattering. This is the dress I was going to wear to my college graduation. It's one of my favorite dresses but because it doesn't have pockets, I chose to wear another dress to graduation. And, of course, it's hard to go wrong with pearls.
