Mother's Day

Northwest Pearls: Mother's Day I'm so thankful for my mother. She's kind, caring, and smart. I've gotten my love for animals from her. She's always supported my hobbies and been there for me; from swimming to choir and voice lessons to running. She goes shopping with me and we go out for regular pedicures.

I love that my mother adopts rescue animals and that they're usually older or have a disability, the kinds of animals that most people don't want. She loves them and cares for them and they're part of our family.

She always puts my siblings and I first in her life. She'll spend money on us before she spends it on herself. She puts up with my shopping and my clothes.

She works hard at her jobs and as a mother. She'll cook us meals and keeps the house and yard looking great. She takes blog photos for me and is always there to talk or to listen.

Being a mother is one of the hardest, if not the hardest job out there. Mom, I'm so grateful for you and I love you so much. Thanks for being my mom. I love you.
